Maybe they wore them because, if you didn't know, the more you sweat, the more weight you'd lose and tone. I have found this post very confusing it just doesn't make any sense on why you're annoyed

this makes no sense your essentially ranting about people wearing in your opinion incorrect shoes and not doing cardio on that particular day

Kex wrote I sometimes go to the gym in a hoodie and go to the weights. Problem?
I class that as gym clothes, I have tracksuit bottoms on and trainers with my tank top [vest] underneath my hoodie.
If I feel a bit cold I will work out with my hoodie on then take it off.

I haven't injured myself [because I know what i'm doing] but I wouldn't say them kids have wasted their money and won't have any effect.
It takes time to see changes.

Incorrect, if you are going to the gym to just have a little bit of exercise then sure it'll take time.

If you do what I've been doing the last 9 months then you'll see results in less than a month, creatine pre and post workout, high intensity cardio, medium weight with large reps and big sets, strict diet, big changes in short time. Doing so I lost within a few weeks around 22lbs, then since I'm going for a bigger upper body (not ripped, I want big shoulders and big arms) I've put back on around 17lbs, just muscle.

I think you're just judging a book by it's cover. I honestly thought you were going to talk about something they did to your or someone else that pissed you off, but just because they weren't dressed to your standards, in no way does it mean that he didn't at least have an idea of what he was doing. Think about it, don't you think you're jumping to conclusions ?

If you don't think they dressed appropriately, why didn't you tell them?

I found a bad thread.

Kai Greene wears a huge hoodie. Converse shoes are preferred for more stable deadlifts and perhaps they are bulking? Treadmill is bad, stop using it and use the stair-master or your gym's pool. The stair master not only can be used for cardiovascular training, and or "warmup", but you can also build leg muscle through the use of it. Running a mile straight is far easier than running a mile up stairs or any other sort of challenging incline.

also to all the people saying cardio kills gains, allow me to clarify:

Cardio will not burn muscle unless you are at an extreme caloric deficit. You may eat a lot through the day and think you are not on a caloric deficit but know that while you are burning calories you eventually need a new source of energy and your muscles will catabolize in order to supply you with energy. Catabolism through cardio, is known for long-distance runners who do marathons etc. Cardio isn't going to make all of your "gains" go poof.

Really? Hoodies? i wear a hoodie to the gym now and again (its pretty cold) and i know what im doing.. I see a lot of people wearing hoodies to the gym...
Also you should stop bothering about what they are doing, its their money they can do what they want with it.. They will soon lose interest if they cant be bothered to read up and get a routine + diet...
