Share your greatest moment in whatever sport you play!

I'll start it off with mine..

It was last year during baseball, my baseball team, the Silsbee Tigers, was one round away from our first state appearance. We were tied in the series 1-1 and game 3 would be the decider to go to state. We were tied 2-2 in the bottom of the 6th. There was a runner on second and I was at the plate. I was seeing the ball well that day and was going 2-2 with a single and a triple. First pitch was a fastball high and inside, I swung and hit a 2-run homerun off of the Rice University's scoreboard, we went on to win the game 5-4 to advance to state!

Please keep the lies out of here!

Mine was when my middle school won the basketball championship for the first time. I was a 6th grader starting on the varsity team and we lost to a team earlier in the season and we played them again in the championship and I had my best performence ever. We won 72-63

19pts
4 steals
1 rebound

doesn't look like much but for me to be a 6th grader at the time on varsity was pretty special to me

I guess mine was when I hit my first two homeruns in back to back games. I was in the 7th hole on my High School team (our lineup was stacked with hitters).

My first homerun was my first hit of the year, (lul) but I was up to bat 3-1 count, ( I almost always had the green light because I had a great batters eye, I lead my team in walks my senior year with close to 25-30.) but anyways, the pitcher threw a a fastball up in the zone, and I got under it, luckily the wind was blowing and I hit it hard enough that it sailed pass the fence.

My second homerun, came 2 days later, I was once again in the 7 hole. The pitcher we were facing walked the previous two batters and I was up, so my coach told me these exact words, "He's been struggling so he's going to try and get one right passed (past, pass blah blah blah) you. When he does, unload on the first one you see" I listened, first pitch was a ball that bounced in the dirt.. Second pitch was right down the middle, and I turned on it and launched it over left field. My coach later told me, that if we were using the old Bats, that I would've hit that between 500-600 ft. Left field was about 350, I hit it close to 125-150 past, pass, passed (whatever) that.

This was the bat, best bat I've ever owned. Until the end cap popped off completely.

Mine was in High School last year. We faced a private school. It was 9-9. We were tied. Our best hitter was on second with one out. I came up to bat. Coach told me to take a pitch and our baserunner stole third. Then the next pitch, I hit a blooper into right field. Won the game. We remained undefeated at 6-0.

Mine was last year
I was a freshman in my first game(of course not starting) well in the first quarter the 1st WR came out of the game with a concussion and it was my turn to go in. I went in the game and the other team didn't think I could catch so we run a play where the 2 WR's go deep and the TE does a slant and the play was supposed to go to the TE but when I look up the ball was above my head.. I put out my hands and caught it and took it too the house for 74 yards.
I have been a starter on offence and defense ever since.
That game I have 149 yards receiving and 2 TD's and we went to win the state championship for the first time in school history

Mine was in my Sophomore year in High School. My HS and another were tied together for 1st place in the district, this was the last match of the fall semester and the winner would advance to regionals in Dallas Texas.Well before I get into why this story is amazing I should tell y'all how fall tennis in HS works. Each Dual match (between two schools) includes 19 matches.
6 womens singles
3 womens doubles
6 mens singles
3 mens doubles
1 mixed doubles

We play all the doubles first and we came out down losing 2-5, which was a complete surprise because we were a very strong doubles team. But that means that we had to win 8 of the next 12 matches, let me just say the girls on my team were not the best. Before I knew it I was the last one playing. I had no idea what the total count was. Apparently it was tied at 9 all. The team that would win the next match would advance to regionals.

In my final match I ended up winning the first set 6-4, then losing the second set 5-7. Then in the final set we had to go to a tiebraker at 6-6. the first to 7 winning by two would win the match. I remember it being me losing 5-2 in that tiebraker. I will not sugar coat it, I had a damn good serve. I average around 115 mph on my first serve and average 15-20 aces a match. That is what helped me the most in the match. after being down 2-5, I was still down 6-5, then it was my serve and I ended up acing him the final two times for the match. The match time was 3 hours and 45 minutes.

And for the first time Hendrickson High School would go to Regionals for the first time in school history.

Now this memory was from my senior year in High School and is more of an emotional memory for me.
This is my fourth year on the Varsity team, I have given so much to the team, from the weight room the cheering on my teammates from the sidelines. And in my finals match as a HS tennis player, I played doubles with my friend for 10+ years, against the school that ended up sweeping everything in the tournament. Besides all of the criticism that my team gotten because "we" were so f*ucking bad (got 7th out of 8 in districts) A lot changed in two years. But anyways. In that match we played Westwood HS. They had the number 1 guy in the state of Texas(godly) We ended up losing the match 4-6, 3-6. No other team got that many games off of westwood. But what made this emotional was my coach after giving me a real hug, and if you knew him that was really unlike him.

Probably, One soccer match I had I scored 8 goals in that game. I ended up with 50+ goals that season.
