HIV wrote Would a Corsair TX650V2 Enthusiast Series 650W TX ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze PSU be good enough for theses specs
1TB Seagate HDD:
Samsung Optical Drive:
Processor(CPU): Intel i5 3570k:
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP ram:
Motherboard: MSI Z77 GD-43:
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO:
Graphics Card(GPU): 3GB XFX 7950
SSD: 120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
Case: NZXT Phantom 410

Too much. Get this instead: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Also switch the cooler to the Enermax ETS-T40-T.B. If you want to spend ~110 GBP on an SSD, make it the Corsair Neutron GTX instead of the Force 3.

I already have the build my current one is the xfx 550w which does not support that graphics card....

It does, though. Have you tried it?

I tried it checked the website which says it doesn't and It only has 1 pci-e when it needs 2

The XFX Core PRO550W has two PCI power connectors, a 6-pin and a 6+2-pin. I've built a PC with this PSU and a 560 Ti, which uses more power than the 7950 stock.

I'm assuming this is the unit you are talking about, not the 450w variant in the series.

I still have my Minecraft pboblem and all drivers are up to data and the only thing left to update is the BIOS.

On my old GPU I was getting the exact same FPS as I am now!

20-120fps

It hardly eve goes past 40 now

Some websites are saying Minecraft has some way of using integrated graphics but I dont know how this is possible and my friend has the exact same specs as me but a bad gpu and he gets better fps

Please suggest some more things I can try :/

SPECS:

AMD FX6100 6 CORE
RADEON 7770
8GB RAM

Hey I couldnt be bothered with Minecraft anymore but I was wondering if and when I get the money I could just switch my MOBO and CPU to Intel and keep my current specs?

My specs now:

I was thinking of changing to this MOBO and CPU:

My budget for upgrade would be around 150-200 hopefully

So will I get better performance?

Since you're not running much at all, a quality 400w power supply will be more than enough.

The XfX unit is also a good option from Scan. Extremely reputable.
