That's according to Titanfall design lead Justin Hendry who, speaking with The Verge, said improvements have been made ahead of the game's March launch to fix the controller's 'overly twitchy' input.
"It's just fixing the controller input, really," said Hendry. "It wasn't really where we felt it should be; it was a little overly twitchy with the current controls. Now it's fixed. We're happy with it," he commented, saying that the studio worked with Microsoft on the improvements, which are said to benefit every game, not just Titanfall.
Microsoft has already detailed plans for a major system update due out this week, which introduces the capability to update the console's dashboard in the background automatically, as well as manage storage space and a battery indicator for controllers. Another update, due for release in early March, will focus on multiplayer and party features including chat, friends list and game invite tweaks.
It's unclear if the controller improvements Hendry describes will be in either of these updates, but the report claims they will be implemented ahead of the Titanfall release date, which falls on March 11.
Respawn recently began taking sign-ups for the Titanfall beta, which kicks off February 14.
