Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's final DLC expansion will focus on the End of Z saga where Goku meets the reincarnated version of Majin Buu, and it's releasing in February.

As any Dragon Ball fan who is waiting on news for Daima and Sparking: Zero knows, Dragon Ball Game Battle Hour 2024 is currently happening in L.A., and it's already had its fair share of cool announcements like Bulla and GT Vegeta coming to Dragon Ball Legends. That's not all, though, as we also got our first look at what appears to be the final expansion for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

As was reported sometime before the release of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai DLC, this expansion focuses on the End of Z saga that acts as an epilogue to Dragon Ball Z. The trailer that was just shown at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour features Goku taking on Uub during the tournament, and confirms that the name of the DLC is "Goku's Next Journey".

The wish of 10 years ago has now been granted.

Beyond showing Goku facing off against Uub, we also see that the DLC will feature Goku interacting with older versions of the Dragon Ball Z cast, including Goten and Trunks, Vegeta, Bulma, Hercule, and a whole lot more. It's not clear what the scope of the DLC is going to be considering the main scenario once again focuses on a Tenkaichi Budokai match, but it seems there will be plenty for Dragon Ball fans to love.

The trailer also confirmed that the End of Z DLC will be releasing in February, which means there won't be as long of a wait as there was for the last piece of DLC, which was announced several months before finally being released. Although Bandai Namco hasn't directly confirmed that this is the final expansion that we'll see for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, it is the last bit of DLC for the second season pass and there hasn't been confirmation of another one just yet.

That being said, no one expected a second season pass from Kakarot, so it's possible that we'll be surprised with another piece of DLC further down the line. With this expansion focusing on the final bit of Dragon Ball history, though, it makes sense for it to be the finale. Either way, there's a lot for Dragon Ball fans to look forward to this year.
