Konami has announced that the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will launch alongside its PS5 counterpart on October 24, 2023.

However, the PS4 version of the stealth-’em-up collection will only be available as a digital download, whereas the other editions of the game will be released physically and digitally. It’s also worth remembering that you can purchase the individual titles separately if you want.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 features spruced up versions of Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Ports of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 are also included in the collection, and hopefully we’ll see a second volume featuring the likes of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot among others.

Beyond the collection, Konami is also working on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which is a full remake of Snake Eater for modern platforms. No release date has been announced for the game yet.
