Frozenbyte and THQ Nordic have announced that Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy will launch on August 31st. As the latest title in the action puzzle platformer series, it’s coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. There’s also a new trailer available focusing on Pontius the Knight. Check it out below.

As one of the playable characters, Pontius is a frontliner who protects his allies and enjoys pies on his off time. He wields a sword and shield, the former used to destroy obstructions, slay enemies and as a platform. The latter can block damage but also functions as a glider for crossing gaps, a raft for traversing water, and even reflecting light for solving puzzles.

Stay tuned for more trailers highlighting the other heroes. Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy aims to provide “at least” 12 hours of playtime and will run at 4K/60 FPS on Xbox Series X and PS5.
