The publishing company recently held an earnings call for Q3 2023, where it said it was aiming to release a total of 87 games between fiscal 2023 and fiscal 2025, which would be the end of March. To clarify whether or not this statement included the recently announced Judas, IGN spoke to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
According to the report, when asked if Judas would be apart of the 87 games being released by March of 2025, Zelnick kept it short and sweet saying, "yes." The CEO did also discuss possible delays to some of the 87 games aiming to be released by the end of March 2025, saying that "there's always the possibility of some slippage but the teams seem to be functioning really well and I'm optimistic about delivering great titles to the marketplace on an ongoing basis."
Should there be no delays to the release of Judas, which Zelnick clearly isn't anticipating, the latest we should be getting our hands on the game is by March of 2025, but it's possible that an early release date is announced.
Judas was first revealed during the 2022 Game Awards, which took place in December. The game comes from the creator of BioShock, Ken Levine, and is a single-player narrative first-person shooter being developed by Ghost Story Games. Judas will be the first title from the new studio, which was rebranded from Irrational Games back in 2017.
No firm release date or window for Judas has been announced yet, but we do know that Judas will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
