The Long-Awaited Disco Elysium Soundtrack is Finally Available

Developer ZA/UM has finally released the much-requested, three-disc soundtrack for their critically-acclaimed RPG Disco Elysium.

Disco Elysium has enjoyed high critical praise since its 2019 release. Most have praised the game’s story, excellent characters, and the way it gamefies choice. What doesn’t get talked about as much is Disco Elysium‘s soundtrack. However, that could be changing very soon, as ZA/UM is finally releasing it to the world.

Disco Elysium‘s soundtrack is a three-disc set from British Sea Power. That equates to 28 songs, which should give you plenty to listen to on your long trip back from visiting your family this holiday. Along with the album, ZA/UM is releasing a 30-page digital artbook. It includes in-game art and concept art from the many artists that helped bring Disco Elysium to life.

This is a great thing for fans to get during the holiday season. If you know a Disco Elysium fan, this would make a perfect last-minute gift. It also serves as a fun holdover while ZA/UM works on the console ports for Disco Elysium.

Disco Elysium‘s soundtrack joins the many other great soundtracks that came out in 2019. Tetris Effect just celebrated its first anniversary by releasing a soundtrack. We’ve also gotten new vinyl collections for Metal Gear Solid, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Bloodborne. If you’re a fan of video game soundtracks, there’s never been a better time for you.

Disco Elysium and its soundtrack are available now on PC. Developer ZA/UM is currently hard at work on a port for PS4 and Xbox One. Those are due to be out at some point in 2020, though a firm release date hasn’t been set yet.
