During Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Games Super Showcase, Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki teased the game’s second season pass. Without explicitly saying it exists outright Hiroki-san alluded to an announcement that would be coming very soon. When asked about the upcoming content, she said:
“I really want to say it, but please wait until the FighterZ Finals.”
The FighterZ World Tour Finals will run from January 26 to the 27. The first season pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ added eight characters to the game throughout 2018. Interestingly enough, some folks managed to leak the roster of the first season pass some time before all of it became available. The second season pass has also seemingly leaked, you can check it out below, however, take it with a grain of salt as nothing has been announced just yet.
Season 2 may include:
- Tapion and Gogeta
- Muten Roshi and Videl w/ Great Saiyaman
- Raditz and Zarbon
- Cabba and Kale w/ Caulifla
As with the first season pass, this looks to be a solid list of characters from all across the series if it’s real. I’d personally be most excited to see Master Roshi and Tapion join the fray.
Outside of Dragon Ball FighterZ, the producer of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Masayuki Hirano, teased something entirely new that’ll also be revealed at the FighterZ World Tour Finals. Additionally, he promised that Xenoverse 2 will receive continued support for the time being. In case you missed it, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is also being localized for Nintendo Switch and PC in April of 2019.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
