| Hi all, I am use to xbox had it most of my life, Usually had around 100mb/s download but recetly got gaming laptop and speed seems to be capped at 10mb/s every other device gets 100ish as stated above , does anyone know what is causing this? |

| depend are u on wifi or wired?how old is laptop? also maybe your hdd read write speed is slow |

I have tried both wired and wireless and ,y speed stays the same around 5/10mb/s..... the read write is part that comes up in say epic launcher when you are downloading games? if so that goes upto like 300mb if I remember correctly, I can do exact test if it helps. |

can try this for wifi
click wifi logo > Click Network and Internet Setting > It will launch Settings window, then click "Change Adapter Options" > Right click the "Wi-fi" > Properties > Client for Microsoft Networks > click Configure > Click Advanced > Preferred Band Change the Preferred Band into "1. No Preference |

make sure you are reading it s mbps and not MBps. 100mbs per second is 10MB .megabits for megabytes. reset network adapter settings.
