Hey TTG, well for around 5 years now, i've been 'attempting' :p to play games on a intel core dual core 2.0ghz laptop... it's been terrible.. everything is terrible... and i've recently come into some money and decided to go and get my self a new one.
So i was looking around and it looks like my MAXIMUM amount i can spend is 650 i can't go over that.
So i saw this on PC World

It has Intel Core i7 with 8gb of RAM & 1TB of data.
The only downside is that it doesn't have Nvidia, it has intel hd graphics
I wanna be using this laptop for many things not just gaming, gaming more though ;)
What do you think? Does it sound good enough for gaming like BF3 etc? Thanks.

It won't run BF3. You may as well go with a desktop and use your current laptop for the many things

No. That's not going to run pretty much any graphic intensive game, also it has a low-res screen which is pretty terrible for gaming.

The best gaming laptop you're going to get for a low/medium budget is the Lenovo Ideapad Y500, that can run bf3 on ultra, and it's only 750

You've got to be willing to shell out the cash if you want a laptop for gaming, they're a tonne more, but I think that's worth the extra 100..

Well, tbh I wouldn't get it, because its not like you can replace your gfx card, well you can but its really hard to do in a laptop, but seeing how the BF4 Beta took a lot of Cpu to run, it looks like a lot of new games are gonna need really good cpu's to run, which the i7 is really good, but you should be able to play the older games on that laptop to.

Just don't get it if you're using it for gaming. It might run ghosts on lowest settings but that's pretty terrible especially with your screen res.

Its the gpu you need to look at if you want to play games not the cpu, but a good cpu does help.
