How to install Optifine for Minecraft 1.5.2

First off, download the version of Optifine you want.
Go [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to select your version. I have used Optifine 1.5.2 HD U D2 in my video.
Once you have downloaded, make sure you have a default version of minecraft. To do this, just force update your minecraft files and it will restore it for you.
Then, open up the Optifine folder you downloaded and the minecraft.jar in a program such as WinRar, or 7Zip.
Copy all of the files from the Optifine folder into the minecraft.jar - being careful not to place them inside a folder.
Afterwards, delete the META-INF folder from the minecraft.jar.
Close both folders and you are now good to go and play Minecraft with Optifine installed!
