If you haven't already, update MW2 to Tu7 by following the tutorial in the spoiler below
Updating Mw2 to TU7
Step 1: Download: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 2: Put the file on a USB-drive
Step 3: Start your jtag and start XeXMenu. Plug in the USB with the file you downloaded.
Step 4: On your JTAG, go to Usb0 copy the file you downloaded and then go to HDD1/Cache and Paste in the Title update there (TU_10LC20N_0000018000000.00000000001OA)
Congratulation you are now on Tu7

How to Install and Use TU7 Xp patch :

Word tutorial:
Drag downloaded files onto usb
Put the 3 files (not including credits) on your jtag (in MW2 folder - running tu7)
run default_mp_launcher.xex
Don't press the back button while not in game.
Start a system link game and join with your retail.
Now once the retail has joined - press the back button on your JTAG.
It should notify you saying its completed infections.
Start a private match on your retail with at-least 5 people and that's how you host xp.

To avoid errors install patch onto clean mw2 file with no other patches on it
If your Gametype is not when going online, before you infect yourelf, play an online game of whatever gametype you want.

Not exactly i have the same thing too. Your Cache Folder is for every update on a game goes. People usally have a lot. Its Automatically updating really on a retail online, Thats why theres a lot. On a Offline JTAG or RGH you must manual update it your self.

You need to join a free for all lobby leave then go to system link then private match and after that it should be on free for all

ziMaJesTicz ok, all the infections work like speed, pro mod, chrome and so on. But most importantly the xp doesnt work? how do i fix?me too, did u have 5 people in your private match?

ok, so everything worked, up until the point where I need to join with me retail and infect myself, it just says "unable to connect to host" ...any suggestions?
