In Code Vein, the revenants will start to appear once you get done with Miasma. These revenants are going to require your help with various quests of theirs that they are incapable of completing. Each character will have a set of side quests that you are going to complete for them if you want 100% completion of Code Vein.

Below is a list that includes the characters and their side quests.

Code Vein Side Quests
The side quests offered by these characters are pretty straightforward and easy to complete, nevertheless, in case you might miss out on one we have compiled this list for you.

Daryl Side Quests
Request 1: Ruined City Center - Parking Garage

You have to go to Daryl and interact with him to know his request. You will find him near the hole that leads to the Hollowing Pits. Once you interact with him, you are going to know that Daryl's friends have gone missing and he needs your help with collecting their Dog Tags.

You are going to set out your way to the Howling Pits Entrance mistle where you are going to find the Ash Covered Dog Tag near the walkway that leads you to the pits. Now, go back to Daryl to complete the side quest.

Request 2: Howling Pit - Howling Pit Entrance

When you reach the Howling Pit Entrance mistle, you are going to interact with Daryl who is going to ask for you to get him the Dog Tag of his friend. You have to find the pathway with the red lost and defeat the enemy. You are going to get the Dog Tag which you have to take to Daryl in order to complete the quest.

Request 3: Howling Pit - Howling Pit Entrance

This time, Daryl is going to ask you to defeat the Lost in order to get him a collection. You have to teleport to the Halls of Deception mistle and defeat Lost. Once you defeat him, you have to teleport back to Daryl at the entrance and give him the item in order to complete the quest.

Self-Important Revenant Side Quest

Request 1: Ruined City Center - Parking Garage

After you have completed the whole Ruined City Center area, go to the Garage mistle. He is going to request you to defeat one of the Losts in Park Ruins which is proving out to be an obstruction for him.

You are going to travel to Park Ruins to defeat her and after defeating her, return back to the Garage. Inform Self-Important Revenant about it and you are going to complete your quest.

Request 2: Dried-Up Trenches - Decayed Ship Interior

When you interact with Self-Important Revenant here, he is going to tell you about the blood spring he is searching for. Once you offer him to check the location he is going to give you the Cliffs of Rest map.

As this is a Depths location, you would have to go to Davis in order to access the location. Go to the location, kill the monster, clear out the area and inform him about it in order to complete the quest.

Request 3: Ruined City Center - Poisonous Butterfly Nest

You are going to meet Self-Important Revenant in the Poisonous Butterfly Nest where he is going to tell ask for an activated mistle. You have to travel to Memories of Research Facility Area mistle and look for an area on your east which has people. You are going to find the Mistle Agent there located to the left of Silva and give it to the Self-Important Revenant to complete the quest.

Shang Side Quest

Request 1: Ruined City Underground - Outer Crossroads

After you interact with Shang, he is going to tell you about the item he wants to retrieve called Peculiar Material. He is going to give you the Depths location, Den of Darkness, for which you are going to have to go to Davis at the Home Base. Once you get access to the location, go there and search for the item on the east side. Once you get a hold of it, go to Shang and hand it over to him to complete the quest.

Request 2: Ruined City Underground - Outer Crossroads

Get out of the area after complete the first request and when you come back here again, Shang is going to tell you about being followed by the Lost. After this, you have to fight a number of enemies and upon defeating them, you are going to be completing the quest.

Request 3: Ruined City Underground - Outer Crossroads

After defeating the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood boss, come back and interact with Shang. He is going to give you a Depths map for the Swirling Flood. Go to the Home Base to talk to Davis and get access to the location. Go and get the Unique Material and then head back to Shang and give it to him to complete the quest.

Request 4: Ruined City Underground - Outer Crossroads

After defeating the Ridge of Frozen Souls boss, and interact with Shang. He is going to give you a Depths map for the Silent White. Go to the Home Base to talk to Davis and get access to the location. Go and get the Rare Material and then head back to Shang and give it to him to complete the quest.

Richard Side Quest

Request 1: Howling Pits - Halls of Deception

Come back to the Halls of Deception mission after defeating the boss and talk to Richard. He is going to tell you about his sleeping bag which is actually in the area. You are going to find it near the burn barrel. Give it to Richard to complete your quest.

Request 2: Ridge of Frozen Souls - Ridge of Frozen Souls Entrance

Take the path from the mistle as you see on the map. Go west and walk until you come around the vehicle and then drop down from platform to platform until you reach the bottom. look to your right and you will see Richard standing there. He is going to tell you about a monster. You will find him near Richard. Just go and defeat him then return back to Richard to complete the quest.

Request 3: Ruined City Underground - Natural Cavern Depths

Richard's request is going to be the same again where he will ask you to defeat the monster. Go straight and you will find the monster. Defeat him and head back to Richard in order to complete the quest.

Request 4: Ruined City Underground - Natural Cavern Depths

For this request, you need to complete the Self- Important Revenant's requests first. After that, you have to come to the same location as Request 3 to meet Richard and he is going to handover you the Depth map - Rocky Ruins.

Sophie Side Quest

Request 1: Cathedral of the Sacred Blood - Cathedral Front

After defeating the boss of Cathedral of the Sacred Blood, go outside to find Sophie there. After interacting with her, head into the Crypt of the Ribcage to find the Rib-Touched Spike key item on the ground near the mistle. Go and give it to Sophie to complete the quest.

Request 2: Ridge of Frozen Souls - Crypt of the Breath

You are going to find Sophie near the entrance of the Crypt of the Breath after you defeat the boss. She is going to ask you for a trace of the Successor that you defeated. Go back inside and get it from the Successor. Go and give it to Sophie in order to complete the quest.

Request 3: City of Falling Flame - City of Falling Flame Entrance

Talk to Sophie in Ashen Caverns, in the City of Falling Flame. She is going to inform you that she is unable to find for the trace of the Successor in this area so you wil have to return to Back Alley mistle. Here you are going to speak to the boss who will give you the item. Take it to Sophie in order to complete the quest.

Gustav Side Quest

Request 1: Dried-Up Trenches - Dried-Up Trenches Entrance

After you have killed the boss, enter the Dried-Up Trenches to interact with Gustav at the Entrance. He is going to ask you for a document that is a piece of evidence to prove that Silva's policies are a mistake. You have to head to the Ruined City Center - Parking Garage mistle and go over to the third floor in order to retrieve the evidence, Citizens' Opinions. Go and give it to Gustav in order to complete the side quest.

Request 2: Cathedral of the Sacred Blood - Outlook Tower

Go to the Outlook Tower in order to interact with Gustav and take the stairs. Take left and you are going to find the Damage Report here. Go back and give it to Gustav in order to complete the side quest.

Request 3: Ridge of Frozen Souls - Observatory Site

Gustav will ask us to retrieve another item for him from the Observatory Site. Head straight and at your right, you are going to face an enemy. Defeat him and get the item, Project Evaluation. Go and give it to Gustav in order to complete the side quest.

Request 4: Ashen Cavern - Accumulator Ruins

You are going to find Gustav near the Accumulator Ruins mistle. After your interaction with him, you are going to get the Depth map to Arachnid Grotto. Go to Davis at the Home Base in order to access the location and go defeat the monster at the red cross. Head back to Gustav to inform him about this and complete the side quest.

Matthew Side Quest

Request 1: Ruined City Center - City Ruins Entrance

You are going to find Matthew at the Entrance of the Ruined City Center. You have to interact with him and he will ask you to defeat a monster with an ax. After you defeat him, go and inform Matthew to complete the quest.

Request 2: Ruined City Center - Parking Garage

This time you are going to find Matthew at the Parking Garage above the stairs. Near the parking garage stairwell, you are going to find the Battered Weapon. Retrieve it and take it to Matthew to complete the quest.

Request 3: Howling Pits - Bottomless Shore

You are going to find Matthew near the burn barrel. He is going to ask you to fight off the Lost. Defeat the Lost and return to him in order to complete the quest.

Request 4: Crown of Sand - Crown of Sand Entrance

You are going to find him near the Crown of Sand Entrance mistle. He is going to ask you to defeat a Lost in the ruined city. Defeat the Lost and return to him in order to complete the quest.

These are all the characters and their side quests that we have yet discovered. Completing each quest is going to reward you with an item or a map of some kind which might be useful to you!
