In the massive world of Temtem, each and every Temtem fits into one or two of the twelve different type of categories. To explain more about them, we prepared a handy Temtem Type Chart guide for you.

The amount of damage you can inflict on an opponent is calculated against many different stats and parameters. In this guide, we have explained in detail all the Temtem types and their strengths and weaknesses.

Temtem Type Chart
There are 12 total Temtem types. An individual Temtem can be part of any two of these at most, but dual-type Temtem are kind of rare in Early Access. Current Temtem types available in the game are as follows:

Neutral Temtems
Neutral Temtems own a thorough range of abilities which perform pretty well against most of the other types. The Neutral Temtems are:

• Effective vs: None (deal 1x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Mental type (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: None (receive 1x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Mental type (receive 2x damage)

Fire Temtems
Fire type Temtems are trickier to control. They are:

• Effective vs: Nature and Crystal types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Fire, Water and Earth types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Fire, Nature and Crystal types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Water and Earth types (receive 2x damage)

Nature Temtems
The nature Temtems offer a balance of offence and defense. They are:

• Effective vs: Water and Earth types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Fire, Nature and Toxic types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Water, Nature, Electric and Earth types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Fire and Toxic types (receive 2x damage)

Water Temtems
Water Temtems are a good addition to your squad as they thrive against many types.

• Effective vs: Fire, Earth and Digital types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Water, Nature and Toxic types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Fire, Water and Earth types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Nature, Electric and Toxic types (receive 2x damage)

Electric Temtems
Most electric type temtems will overlap across two different types. They will bring versatility to your squad. They are:

• Effective vs: Water, Mental, Wind and Digital types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Nature, Electric, Earth and Crystal types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Electric and Wind types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Earth and Crystal types (receive 2x damage)

Mental Temtems
Mental temtems have many magical abilities which are very useful against melee and neutral temtems.

• Effective vs: Neutral and Melee types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Crystal types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Neutral and Melee types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Electric, Digital and Crystal types (receive 2x damage)

Earth Temtems
Earth Temtems are resistant to a third of the types and act as Tanks. They are:

• Effective vs: Fire, Electric and Crystal types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Water, Nature and Wind types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Fire, Electric, Crystal and Toxic types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Water, Nature, Wind and Melee types (receive 2x damage)

Wind Temtems
Wind Temtems are most useful when you are constructing a balanced squad. They are:

• Effective vs: Earth and Toxic types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Electric and Wind types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Earth and Wind types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Electric types (receive 2x damage)

Crystal Temtems
Crystal Temtem can prevent negative stat changes, so they can be useful in the team.

• Effective vs: Electric and Mental types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Fire and Earth types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Electric, Mental and Toxic types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Fire, Earth and Melee types(receive 2x damage)

Digital Temtems
Digital type Temtems are the rarest type so they will be difficult to find.

• Effective vs: Mental, Digital and Melee types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: None (deal 1x damage)
  
• Resistances: Toxic types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Water, Electric and Digital types (receive 2x damage)

Melee Temtems
Melee temtems can take a good beating, so they can be a good option for your team.

• Effective vs: Earth and Crystal types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Mental and Melee types (deal 0.5x damage)
  
• Resistances: Melee types (receive 0.5x damage)
  
• Weak vs: Mental and Digital types (receive 2x damage)

Toxic Temtems
Toxic types have few weaknesses and can be a good option to choose.

• Effective vs: Water and Nature types (deal 2x damage)
  
• Ineffective vs: Earth, Digital, Crystal and Toxic types (deal 0.5x damage)
