Raditz is one of the first bosses in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot who is fought during the Saiyan Saga and you will need a whole series of abilities in order to defeat him. He possesses some lethal abilities such as Cyclone Monday, Saturday Crash and Double Sunday.

The first skill you need to master is the Guard or Dodging ability since Raditz will do a sweeping spinning move while moving horizontally. You will need to use the Guard ability against this move.

You can also try moving up or down if you are good at dodging, but this doesn't work as effectively as the Guard ability against it.

The second boss fight tip that you must master is dodging. Raditz will be hitting you with waves of orbs from Saturday Crash and a single hit of these waves will put you into a whole series of similar attacks, making it way harder to dodge.

Perhaps that is why the best method is to dodge away right before they hit you and don't get trapped even by a single it. Indeed this is the true point where you need master level dodging skills.

Raditz will then be hitting you with Double Sunday attacks, and all you have got to do to deal with these strikes is to stand away of the trajectory of the beams. The best method is to move directly above Raditz for this is the only zone where you won't be getting any hits for sure.

The last lethal ability of Raditz is using Energy balls. When he gets powered up with Surge, his Double Sunday will become more powerful and he will send some Energy Balls to float in the area. To save yourself, you have to do the same - guard and dodge them.

Now aside from his attacks, after dodging them, you gotta attack Raditz too in order to increase your points. The trick for that is simple but requires practice.

You will have to be quick enough to dodge or guard and immediately after that attack him to make sure the Raditz boss fight doesn't last too long.

Dodging his strikes often increases the distance making your strikes ineffective, and perhaps that is why you need to master the dodging abilities along with fast attacks.
