To gain the achievement Monoculture, you will need to ship 300 of the same crop. This is actually much easier and quicker then it sounds.

I suggest on the first day of summer you purchase the hops starters. Idealy get between 20-25, these cost 1200 for 20.

After 12 days they will bloom, allowing you to harvest the hops, 12x20 = 320 before summer ends you will have 320 hops to ship. By doing so you unlock 20 gamerscore and the achievement Monoculture.
