TEXT GUIDE:
**NOTES** Follow audio background I provide you so you know if this issue is relevant to you.


    1.) Have the Netgear disk you got from the adapter packaging
    2.) Have the disk run in your computer and when you get to a certain step, click remove all installed components to wipe all netgear drivers, programs, etc from your computer.
    3.) Install the disk again and do a complete installation from scratch.
    4.) When you get to the point where it states "Please plug in your (Device) and click next" open your devices and printers area and scroll down to find your unidentified device.
    5.) (Refer to 2:15 onward for video guide on next steps)
    6.) You should be able to connect to your 5.0ghz connection.
