What to do:
Ensure the USB storage device is connected to the Wii U console.
From the Wii U Menu, select "System Settings."
Using the Left Stick, scroll to the "Data Management" icon and press the A Button.
Select "Delete All Data on USB Storage Device" and follow the on screen instructions.
This will delete all saved data from the USB storage device. Once deleted, this data cannot be recovered.
If youd like to format the USB storage device for use with a PC, please contact the manufacturer for instructions.
