The Mosin Nagant is currently the only gun on DayZ standalone that can be used as a sniper. There are a few different locations that it can spawn, but offices are the best locations to look as they almost always spawn inside of these buildings.

Locations of Offices
Location #1 - This is the best office to look as most of the spawns now are on the east coast, so this is the closest office building to you.
The office is located in Elektrozavodsk (Elektro for short).
It is located in the center of town across from the hospital.

Location #2 - This office building is also located on the East Coast, but it is much more north.
It is located in the city of Krasnostav, towards the center of town on a dirt road.

Location #3 - This office building is located in a small city north of the Balota airfield. It is located across the street from the hospital.

What To Do Once At The Office
1.) Go to the top floor of the office building, and enter the one room that is available.
2.) Look on the shelves and on the ground, if a Mosin is not there you are fine.
3.) Leave that server on the top floor and join a server with not that many people in it.
4.) If it is not there repeat steps 2&3.

I'll definitely have to go get this. The only gun I have gotten in DayZ SA is the pistol. Thanks for the tutorial.
