1) Find and download a font which you wish to use.
2) Extract the font from it's zipped file.
3) Open the folder containing the font.
4) Double click the font file to install.
ALTERNATIVELY
Go To:
Start>Computer>Local Disk (C)>Windows>Fonts
Then drag and drop the font to that folder.
Once installed, you can then proceed to use this font using the text tool in photoshop.

I just got a newer version of Photoshop and for some reason i could not figure out how to do this.
