E3 2016: Ubisoft Announces “Steep,” New Open World IP

During Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, the French publisher announced the new IP that was teased during the latest financial conference call a few weeks ago.

The title is Steep, and is coming in December 2016 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

“Defy a massive open world of the Alps and Alaska on skis, wingsuit, snowboard, and in paraglide. The mountain is yours. So strap in, suit up, and drop in.”

As of late I have been interested in getting back to playing SSX as I always found those games enjoyable, so STEEP has got my attention. From the looks of it, the game seems enjoyable, but I don't know how much playability there will really be to it, so it may only last so long before it ultimately becomes repetitive. Depending on the future gameplay revealed for the game I may wait for the game to go up on sale on the Xbox Marketplace before purchasing it.

I agree. I would have to be on with friends constantly to enjoy it. But solo, or with randoms, I don't think it'll be as fun. I'll probably get it though, because I seem to have a habit of buying games and never playing them...

same with me, i get every new game what comes out but still play the same game every day
