E3 2016: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC

4.6
It was leaked earlier this week, and probably more than a few gamers saw it coming anyway. During its E3 press briefing Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Definitive Edition for PS4 and Xbox One.

The game comes out on October 29th, and brings back the latest The Elder Scrolls game in a shinier guise, unless you’re a PC gamer, on which case your Skyrim probably already looks as shining as it can thanks to a million of mods.

The good news is that following Fallout 4’s example, mods will come to consoles even with this new remaster, even if there will certainly be more limitations compared to the PC version.

Not sure how I feel about this.. I don't see why their remaking it. The glitches and the bugs made the game more fun for me.

Its funny that they are giving this free to PC players because they know that we already have mods to do what they are releasing. They known we aren't going to be stupid enough to pay for the same game.

Mods releasing on console is a cool addition to the game though.

I played the first skyrim but I always got bored of it. Might get this and give it another shot.
