Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer has been working with the team to prepare the company’s E3 showing, and today he commented on Twitter

Microsoft has certainly stepped out of its collective comfort zone with some of the latest initiatives it took to renew the Xbox brand. Whether that’ll prove to be a winning move, it might be early to say, but it can’t be said that they haven’t boldly gone where they haven’t done before.

Of course, it’ll be interesting to see if any of those “never done” things will be presented at E3. The announcement of the rumored mid-generation refresh of the console hardware would certainly qualify.
