Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Developers Praise Battlefield 1 Reveal

4.7
We finally saw the reveal of Battlefield 1, and most reactions I’ve seen have been quite positive. Among those, are praising words from the other side of this fall’s FPS warfare: developers from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s studio Infinity Ward.

The studio’s official Facebook account opened the dances with a rather classy reply to a less than classy taunt:

More voices from the studio joined, starting with Principal Rendering Engineer Michael Drobot, who praised the facial animation and rendering. Incidentally, Drobot is one of the main actors behind Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s visuals.

Game Designer Douglas Holder (previously at Naughty Dog, and maker of clever thumb wrestling games) joined in as well:

Last, but not least, Director of Communications Eric Monacelli (also a Naughty Dog veteran), praised the choice of song, the looks and the interesting mechanics showcased in the reveal.

Lets seen how long Xbox will have privileges before sony comes along and get jealous and take the privilege, Microsoft knew cod was going down hill thats why they gave up on
but this looks epic! Microsoft should buy all rights for battlefield so Sony cant have battlefield, then more people will come to xbox which means more money for Microsoft
if any psn fgts disagree then pm me because I have all day to slash you!

They know they're defeated already. No way could they mock or raise negative points about BF1 whilst they continue to develop their disk of crap.

Grimlock I dont see why people compare battlefield and call of duty together. Each Cod company gets 2 years to develop a game while Dice gets almost 3-4 years on each game. Of course battlefield is going to make a better game because of how much time they get to make it. Call of duty is meant for an every year game. If infinity Ward had around 3.5 years to make a game I think it would be a lot better. So of course Battlefield 1 is going to be a lot better than the next cod just because they had a lot more time put into it.

I don't know if you know this but there is a 3 year development cycle between Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, and Treyarch. I'm not sure half a year would make that much of a difference.

not really the first year they spend supporting and updating the game with maps and what not

Yes really if you really think they'd use their whole development team just for that then you're crazy. I really don't get the COD apologists.

DICE definitely deserves their slice of the cake this year. As always, fine work from the devs!

I keep on watching the trailer, it's so eye catching and amazing. DICE done a good job on it. This over taking Infinite Warfare by miles.
