Infinite Warfare Trailer now one of the most disliked YouTube Videos

4.6
The logical thing to do when you don't like something is to ignore it. Then again, no one ever accused the general public of being logical either, so it's no surprise that the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that launched Monday currently holds almost 229,000 dislikes vs 162,000 likes.

The video has garnered over 5 million views in just over 24 hours, so it's not a stretch to say that there are a fair number of people flocking to the video just to bash it. However, when compared to last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops III Reveal Trailer, the number of likes to dislikes is significantly more positive (392K Likes to 78K Dislikes), so there also might be a legitimate negative reaction among fans about the direction the game is going.

Criticism about the trailer sure hasn't been in short supply either as Developers from Call of Duty's closest competitor, Battlefield expressed their own playful jabs at Infinite Warfare's expense. This latest iteration of the long running annual series is certainly taking itself in a new direction, as the game will have legit space dogfighting scenarios as well as non-linear side missions.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on current gen platforms only, PS4, Xbox One and PC, on November 4th 2016.

it's also worth keeping in mind that many of the likes may be due to the remastered Modern Warfare also shown in the trailer so the number could be worse.

But is it really that bad? let us know in the comments below!

Buying it purely for CoD4. Fed up of this futuristic bullshit. CoD4 and CS:GO will do for me.

I think people are tired of the futuristic stuff. To be fair everyone did ask for change. I just want a more simple cod. I play a lot more casually then I did before these changes.

Ill still be buying the game, so will half of the dislikers lol

Eazy people automatically judge a game by the company who's making it and by the reveal trailer. that's dumb

Yeah, it's totally that and nothing to do with the fact it's all space age when people want old CoD back and CoD is just getting worse and more ridiculous by the year.

Also a thousand or so downvotes will be at the fact you HAVE to buy IW to get CoD 4.

It's funny how people think that disliking a game trailer on Youtube after the game has been in development for three years is going to change what Activision sells. I'm looking forward to both Infinite Warfare and CoD 4 remastered. It's a win win for me.

What's dumb is that they do not listen to what people want, they would rather make a garbage game and stick a remaster of the best cod game and make it exclusive for those that buy infinite garbage with it's space turds. for 79.99.

Grahamazing Everyone's bashing it, yet 85% of the people bashing the game will still buy it

Nope it's not what we wanted, but when has that's ever stopped us from buying it? Never

no shit, Sherlock. We are going to buy it because of the Remaster, not because Infinity garbage with space turds. I am going to buy it, take the cod 4 code and sell it back to gamestop

I don't know about anyone else but I love it!

People will still buy it but that shouldn't mean people have to be happy with what they're going to get. It's a game series and this is the newest installment, any fan or follower of any series will give the new stuff a go despite what it may look like or despite what they've heard, it's natural to stick with something you're used to. I'd guess that 90% of people are more excited for Modern Warfare's remake than Infinite Warfare.

Personally i feel they should've made a remake of Modern Warfare, but campaign mode only. Then instead of Infinite Warfare, create an imediate follow up to where Modern Warfare left off, include the better maps and add new ones, use the same weapons with the addition of a few others perhaps. That, in my opinion would have gotten a 100x better reception and a lot more anticipation than the disk of crap Infinite Warfare will be.
