Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered Cannot be Purchased Separately

4.5
If you're excited to play the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in its remastered state, you need to prepare to also buy the futuristic new Infinite Warfare.

According to Activision's FAQ for Modern Warfare Remastered, the game will be available as a digital download only to customers who purchase a qualifying version of its upcoming, Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The qualifying versions are the "Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe" SKUs of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game digital download," and won't be available as a separate, physical release.

"You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," the FAQ also states.

Oh yeah I forgot that you're just another fanboy to their collection of idiots buying the next game so you can be "super cool" and get it "2 weeks before release because im an asshat youtube recorder"

Ok, but lets see how many COD's it took to downfall and keep rolling. (The answer is 3)

And yes, you can buy it separate, its called people sell those damn COD 4 codes on g2a for half the price of the standalone game without it...

Man the salt, opinions, and assumptions that are being thrown around in your comment is crazy.

Strokes I Don't really mind this to be honest! $109.00 Isn't a bad price for 2 Quality games. Especially a remastered Call Of Duty.

1 game just the 1 quality game

I personally think a few months after the game comes out they'll sell CoD4 Remastered version seperately. I think they are using it as a pre-order bonus to boost sales of CoD: Infinite Warfare which is smart, but bad for those who can't afford the game and only want CoD4 Remastered.

It makes sense since if they did that then pretty much no one would buy Infinite Warfare but I still find it really stupid! I'm going to have to pay a fortune to play the remastered version but it will still be totally worth it!

this sound good getting infinite warfare and breaking cod4 anyways.

They are gonna make it purchased separately probably a few months after the game comes out. They are just saying this so they can sell more at launch. I mean really, who would by the new CoD if it didn't come with cod 4?

Only for the money. Call of Duty is dead. They might as well call it something else besides Call of Duty. They're making a bad name for themselves.
