Possible production notes for a redesigned Xbox One emerge

4.5
This leaked image suggests that there’s some credence to the various rumours about an Xbox One redesign.

The image above, originally posted on NeoGAF, suggests the existence of the ‘Xbox One Second Generation’, a slimmer model that has been rumoured since 2014. FCC filings dug up earlier this month suggested something similar.

Take this with a grain of salt, of course – it’s not entirely clear where this leaked image is coming from – but the mounting evidence suggests that an Xbox One revision is likely. Whether or not it will be line with the major revisions hinted at for the PlayStation 4 NEO remains to be seen.

The Xbox One originally released in November 2013. Aside from different colour schemes and larger hard-drives, subsequent releases of the console have not seen major revisions.

this would be sick, hopefully it won't take up too much space though.

This will be nice to see, better graphics. We can only tell when the more of the leaks come threw.

Ballout Changeable graphics maybe?

I honestly think that would be stupid. It's fine the way it is no need to change it.

Dil Personally I bought the Xbox 360 Slim on it's release in 2010 as it had a built in wireless adapter, but I don't think anything will be too attracting towards a revised Xbox One console unless the hardware is actually substantially greater. I just want E3 to come faster so we can finally know the details.

I mean a hard drive slot would be pretty nice. As well as a smaller size.

A hard drive slot would be nice to have thinking back on it, but size isn't an issue for my room so I guess I never really thought about that aspect of it.

I don't see the need for an internal hard drive slot when we have USB 3.0 ports that wont bottle neck mechanical hard drives. Sure you have everything in one confined space, but with an external it's much easier to bring to friends houses then having to swap out hard drives.

I would buy a revised version, simply because I got my old one on day one, so just to have a clean revision of the console would be great. I would be even more inclined to buy it tho if it was a little slimmer and smaller... As mentioned below a hard-drive slot would be awesome instead of having to plug in multiple externals. :)
