Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 closed Alpha kicks off for PC mod tools

If you signed up for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 PC modding tools closed Alpha, you mind want to check your inbox.

It was announced last last month the closed Alpha would start soon.

Treyarch said today it started sending out invite to chosen members of the PC modding community.

The developer said the “incredible amount of testing and iteration” for the tools will help “lay the foundation for an open beta.”

Once the results of the Alpha have been analyzed, the open beta will go live in the “following months,” which means a timeframe hasn’t been set.

Back in November, Treyarch announced it would offer modding and mapping tools to the community. The last game to offer map making tools was Call of Duty: World at War.

Every COD gets modded in a way that it's easy to do when found out. It's said to see people getting Rank 1000 feel sorry for the people who has done it legit.

From a non-multiplayer-competitive aspect, the game is pretty good. I think Cod has a LOT of potential for mods. Custom zombies on WAW is already god-tier, so custom zombies in this is gonna be insane as well, no doubt.
