Rumors of a new Xbox One console (ala Xbox One slim) or even a completely new Xbox are in full swing right now and as we get nearer to E3 things could probably leak out. As many of you know, the FCC regulates all devices that are able to use any type of wireless transmission technology. So Microsoft has possibly submitted the wireless chip of a new Xbox to the FCC for testing.
Two filings are currently available for viewing on the FCC website: 1682 and 1683. The applicant for the license has chosen to not reveal much information about the device publicly (like photos) as to not leak the announcement beforehand. The files under NDA will be revealed on June 25, so an announcement of a new console could be possible at Microsoft’s E3 conference.
"New Xbox One variant Coming out soon! Get rid of that 500 gb crap and get a 1tb hard drive!" who ever thought of this should be erased from existence.
If its only smaller with no actual improvements to make it more speedy (especially on the dashboard areas) I will pass. Pointless for current owners especially since you can use external hd's now.
Dil I would honestly buy a slim, the current console is blocky as hell, and the slim would save me from having to upgrade in storage space as most likely it would have a 1TB HDD.
Needs to be more than 1TB, I got the Xbox One Elite and my 1TB is already at 89% Used. The size though could be better but I'm not really bothered by that.
I've been using the 500GB ever since release, I'm always having to uninstall big games like Halo 5/Halo MCC so honestly 1TB sounds amazing to me, but I can see how it gets used up so quick.
