The indie hit Rocket League scored a goal with gamers last summer with its rocket-powered take on soccer, and now the popular title will be hitting the court instead of the field with a new mode that brings basketball into the game.

Developer Psyonix revealed in a teaser through Twitter that a new basketball game mode will be coming to Rocket League, with the tweet tentatively calling it “Rocket League Hoops.”

Instead of scoring field goals in soccer, the new mode will bring a rocket-powered take on basketball to Rocket League – no specific release window or date was revealed at this time, other than Psyonix stating the new mode will arrive later this year.

Rocket League is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
