Quantum Break PC Specs Updated, Now Has Three Different Variations

4.4
We found out earlier this week that Quantum Break is coming to both the Xbox One and the PC. Once that announcement was made, Remedy Entertainment started sharing what some of the PC requirements are going to be for this game and it’s pretty clear that the company has made a game that only the best of the best PCs are going to be able to run. That makes some sense considering the title was originally only going to be coming to the Xbox One.

The minimum requirements for the game, as well as recommended settings and what kind of settings you will want to have if you are running the game on ultra have all been updated. Despite the confirmation of the the PC version and the requirements, Remedy is hinting that not all of the cats are out of the bag when it comes to the Quantum Break PC version.

The company has said there will be more details about what gamers can expect later this month. Head of PR at Remedy Entertainment, Thomas Puha took to Twitter in order to set the record straight about the new information. Ruha wanted to make it clear that the company has been giving the press plenty of time to see what kind of game they are putting out in Quantum Break, saying they recently allowed a demo that lasted anywhere from 90 to 120 minutes. He added that Remedy knows it has to make Quantum Break a top of the line PC game and the team is working on that. Quantum Break is due to hit the Xbox One and PC on April 5, 2016. Check out the updated requirements below:

Quantum Break Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)

980 Ti for ultra? A 970 will max ANY game at 1080p, I highly doubt this game will be more demanding than the likes of GTA V.

Teravainen Good thing it's coming to Xbox One, I don't have the money to afford those specs.

V10 Glad its coming out on console, I have nothing against PC gaming, but you have to fork up a lot of cash to be able to perform efficiently on the PC.

That's because the recommended and ultra settings are well above the quality of the Xbox One version.
For a similar comparison, you'll be spending roughly the same amount of money. The difference is the PC gamers can spend extra to get that extra level of detail etc. if they want to.
My dad only spent around $500 on his computer and he plays games all the time at standard settings whereas I've spent probably around $2000 because I enjoy playing games more than him. I get a higher quality game to play.

Ultra doesn't look to bad to run...

You don't need 980ti unless you want to run the game on 1440p or above.

A GTX 970 for recommended? Hot damn, specs are catching up fast. I guess it's time for another upgrade/second GPU soon...
