Metal Gear Solid 5 has shipped 6 million units

Metal Gear Solid 5 sold rather well to retailers, according to Konami’s latest financial figures.

According to the firm’s report, for the nine months ending on December 31, 2014, Metal Gear Solid 5 shipped 6 million units worldwide. The figure includes both physical and digital formats.

The firm noted the 6 million as sell-in, which in financials terms denotes units sold to retailers.

Konami also said sales of PES 2016 were meaningful as were sales of its popular mobile title Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu.

Sales for the company’s digital division were up 37.5% from ¥67.9 billion to ¥93.4 billion year-over-year. Profits for the division were also up year-over-year from ¥10.7 billion to ¥25.5 billion.

Great game to play, they are doing good considering they have sold 16 million copies.

these type of games need to be more improved, thinking a bit about the minds of the players, because these games need to give some enthusiasm or some fun or some thrill, but the thrill that is given by the game should be not harmful to the player, like in Online Games and Pokemon Games, where games can be played with a harmless thrill.

I really tried to get into these games, but the controls for Metal Gear on console are terrible and I just never got the game on PC to remap buttons. But, the game is good if you can get over the terrible controls lol.

Lmao I remember playing MGS when I was a bit younger and walking around hiding under a box. Not sure what console that was on but it was quite a long time ago. Good to see this game is still around
