Xbox One Wireless Adapter now supports Windows 7&8.1

The newly released Xbox One controller wireless adapter now supports Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

Microsoft released a wireless adapter for anyone looking to use their Xbox One controller on Windows. This small receiver unfortunately was only supported on Windows 10, officially at least.

An official update was released for the device this week, however, to allow it to work on Windows 7 as well as Windows 8.1

The adapter costs $25/ £20 and supports up to eight controllers simultaneously.

Its a shame that I've already fallen in love with my Steam Controller.

-Deano I'm not really that bothered by it. Got to say I don't think the Xbox One controller is that good.
I much prefer the normal Xbox 360 controllers. If I had to choose a new controller, I'd probably grab a PS4 one to use on my PC instead of the Xbox One controller.

I also agree i have been using my xbox 360 controller since i was able too and i can say that i wouldnt go to xbox one controller of it.
