Xbox head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to confirm that new Xbox 360 backwards compatible games on Xbox One will be revealed each month.

Spencer didn’t elaborate on the number of titles to be announced, nor a specific time each month when the announcement would be named.

Beginning from Tuesday, Dec. 1, Xbox Live Gold members can download “Castlestorm” for free on Xbox One.

For the rest of December, Xbox 360-owning patrons will be able to do some hacking and slashing in the classic arcade brawler “Sacred 3“. It’s unknown at this stage how many games will be added to the list every month.

Earlier this week, Microsoft confirmed via their blog that Thief, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, CastleStorm, Sacred 3, and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will all be available for free during the December “Games With Gold” promotion.
