PC game releases for December 2015

4.6
If you're a PC gamer this December, you certainly have more to look forward to than your console counterparts, though a bunch of those games do seem to be re-releases or ports.

Let's start off with that's new shall we?

Just Cause 3 - December 1

If you play GTA games for the mayhem then the Just Cause series was probably made for you. Taking the open world formula and then adding in pure, unadulterated chaos is Just Cause's specialty, and if you're up for a healthy dose of mayhem, then Just Cause 3 will serve it up in spades.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege - December 1

If you're more of a team player and want to take part in some anti-terrorist action, then Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will be right up your alley. While it may not be the Rainbow Six: Patriots game I've wanted since it was announced, this might just be the next best thing.

While the game may be multiplayer focused, it will also include a few solo variants such as Terrorist Hunt, which will have you fending off against waves of attackers.

Valhalla Hills - December 2

On December 2, Valhalla Hills will be making its debut, leaving Steam's Early Access. If you enjoyed games like Settlers, then Valhalla Hills should be on your radar. Take care of your fellow Vikings, establish colonies, gather resources and ultimately try to reach the top of the mountain in each randomly generated scenario.

Dragon Quest Heroes: Digital Slime Edition - December 3

Originally a PS4 exclusive, Dragon Quest Heroes makes its way to Steam.

Just know that if you enjoy the gameplay of the Warriors series with an infusion of Dragon Quest mechanics, characters and locations, and don't happen to have a PS4, then definitely give this game a look.

Helldivers - December 7

While Helldivers might not be considered a PS4 system seller, it managed to do just that when it first released, and had a coworker of mine pick up a PS4 just to play it. Well, the joke's on him this December as the game makes its way to Steam.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - December 10

The third entry in the divisive trilogy of Final Fantasy XIII will be making its way to Steam. In this entry, the world is ending and time is of the essence. Lightning will have to make use of time traveling powers to save the entire world.

This entry introduces a faster paced combat system, as well as a slew of costumes called Schemata, that change up Lightning's abilities.
