New device lets you use Xbox Elite controller with a PS4

The expensive, customisable, and sleek-looking Xbox Elite controller, can now be used on PlayStation 4 – if you’re willing to buy a third-party device.

If you’ve ever looked into using Xbox controllers on PlayStation consoles, then you should already know there are some devices out there that’ll do the job.

CronusMAX PLUS is one such device. Made by CronusMax, this small USB dongle allows you to use any controller on PlayStation 4, and thanks to a new firmware update, the Xbox Elite controller is now supported.

Here’s a video showing the device in action. This device also works if you want to use a DualShock 4 on Xbox One.

Pretty cool that these controllers can be used with different platforms, would be nice if there was better support for controllers on PC.

Pro I think that this is a very good idea because whenever I play the ps I can never get used to the controller, so an adapter that allows me to use an xbox pad on a playstation is a very good invention!

Very, you don't even know how excited I am for this, It was always awkward for me to use a tiny ps4 controller haha.

Dusknoir I think that's great seeing as I would play a PS but I just can't manage to use the controller because I am so used to the xbox controller.

I am purchasing this with my next paycheck, I can't believe I'm JUST hearing about this! The biggest feature is turning any controller into a modded controller, omfg.
