Treyarch Reveals Some PC Changes Done Thanks to Black Ops 3 Beta

4.5
While we know a lot of people played Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s beta, Treyarch is now revealing its effect on the final overall experience.

The list of changes revealed are PC-specific, but clearly this isn’t all of them. Also, consoles will get their fair share of fixes, thanks to the beta’s feedback. Here’s a sample of the PC-specific changes and improvements:

Some players felt that the game didn’t perform well on their computer. The good news is that the PC Beta didn’t include final performance optimizations. This work is being completed as we speak. We’re improving performance and working with hardware partners to prepare optimized drivers for launch.
Other players described the mouse as “floaty” or “laggy.” We agree – player feedback helped us find the problem and we fixed it.
Some players with certain networking configurations had trouble connecting to online services. Thanks to your reports we were able to fix this compatibility issue.
During the Beta, some players provided feedback that they were experiencing various crashes, freezes, or other bugs. We’ve been dissecting each one and as a result have been able to fix a lot of bugs including many crash and freeze issues.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches on November 6 for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

UZl Is it better on PC than Xbox One to play BO3?

probably not considering that the CoD PC community isn't prominent at all, because usually the PC ports are shit.

Year after year people expect a better PC version of the game and yet it usually tends to be worse with the exception being AW, I heard it was alright. COD is a console shooter it'll stay that way, similar to how Battlefield is a PC shooter.

I tried the pc beta, and it lagged out all the time. It was really annoying.

Musk Lol pc have more issues than anyother platform

That's because developers tend to just port the game over to PC without properly optimising it and what you're left with is a crappy PC port.
