PS3 System Software Update 4.76 Released

Sony Computer Entertainment just made a new update available for the PS3, numbered 4.76. The patch notes are pretty much what many would expect:

“Improved system software ability during use of some features.”
At the moment of this writing, the update still isn’t available for download on the web, so you’ll need to get it directly on the console via the System Update option of the menu.

Ultimately, stability definitely isn’t a bad thing, and after all PS4 users are getting a pretty beefy 3.00 patch soon, after much “stability.” Will the veteran PS3 ever get a 5.00? We’ll have to wait and see.

SpoofyLobbys PS3 updates still, at least they don't forget about their different customer sets


They should be supporting the PS4 really making more users want to change over other than making more updates on 3 so people don't go next gen

I am surprised to see Sony still focusing on the PS3. That is a great thing to hear how they are not neglecting their PS3 users.

Pro- Most people have next gen consoles, there is no point updating that at all.


Your so wrong, the sad thing is you don't know it 30% of ps players play destiny on ps3. Think about the that, more then 1/4 of the money came from ps3s.
