PS3 System Software Update 4.76 Released

Sony Computer Entertainment just made a new update available for the PS3, numbered 4.76. The patch notes are pretty much what many would expect:

“Improved system software ability during use of some features.”
At the moment of this writing, the update still isn’t available for download on the web, so you’ll need to get it directly on the console via the System Update option of the menu.

Ultimately, stability definitely isn’t a bad thing, and after all PS4 users are getting a pretty beefy 3.00 patch soon, after much “stability.” Will the veteran PS3 ever get a 5.00? We’ll have to wait and see.

Ah, Well looks like I Need to update my console from 3.55 to this now, Uh Have not been on ps3 in so long, Ill have to update and see whats new. Also they need to chill with updating the old gen consoles.

Lenny_Face PS3 is bad. Xbox is much better. I'm surprised sony is updating PS3 when they should be working on the PS4.

PS3 is getting so bad I was playing minecraft on it thee other day with somee friends just to see what some of the updates they brought out were like and at times the game can lag its very annoying so probs going to be getting a ps4 soon.
