Borderlands movie in the works at Lionsgate

Lionsgate is developing a movie based on the Borderlands franchise from Gearbox Software.

The film is being developed with Avi Arad and his son Ari Arad who worked on Iron Man, Spider Man, The Amazing Spider Man, X-Men, Ghost Rider and Blade.

Lionsgate said since the games “don’t pull any punches”, the company wants to create a film “with the same in-your-face attitude,” according to the press release.

A filming date or theatrical release window was not provided.

Im really iffy on this movie. The game is so unique in itself its going to feel weird watching a moviefied version of it. I would like to know the voice actors, and a bit about the story

Honestly I've played the series except presequel and yeah I would love to play it not low budgeted at this moment but a movie? I can honestly say I wouldn't mind. In fact I look forward to it. There's been times when I would watch all the cutscenes from certain games on YouTube when I was younger that would make me want to play or not want to play a game we've all been there so yes this is something I would like to see

This is a bit weird its just like making a movie about cod or GTA just doesn't make sense, its a game just keep it that way, but it won't stop me watching it
