Microsoft’s E3 hype chu-chu has officially left the station; in a mailing sent out to members of Xbox.com, the company promises out-do last year’s announcement of Project Natal with “even bigger” ones this year. That’s plural.

Reads the message: “E3 is the world’s largest gaming show, and the place where we make the BIG announcements about what’s coming up on Xbox. With the massive Project Natal announcement at last year’s event, you’d think we’d find it hard to top that. Well, think again.”

It went on: “This year at E3 we’ve got even BIGGER announcements to share with you.”

The platform holder will hold two media events in the next four days. The first, 100% Natal-focused press gathering, will happen on Sunday, with what’s likely to be the main event, the official E3 media briefing, following on Monday.
