Sony’s New Mobile Projector For The PlayStation 4 Revealed

At a recent media event, Sony has announced a new accessory for PlayStation 4, "Mobile Projector". At the event, Sony also showcased a demo working of this Mobile Projector for PlayStation 4 with Until Dawn.

The list of features this new Mobile Projector for PlayStation 4 will offer are as follows:

Laser Technology.
Auto Focus & Free Focus modes.
Can project up to 120-inch screen size (from about 3.6m away).
1920 x 720 resolution.
Brightness rating of 32 lumens.
HDMI/MHL connection.
Ability to stream video from any device, over Wi-Fi.
Has a 3000mAh battery which can last up to 2 hours of usage.
There is a tiny internal speaker to output audio, but most of us will plugging in a headset or external speakers to the stereo earphone jack.
The form factor of the device is really small. About the size of two Sony Xperia phones stacked together!

1920x720 why? Does it do 3D. What a wierd resolution. 1280x720 makes more sense. Sony pushing wierd stuff to their fanbase also. I am still kind of reeling from Playstation TV that I haven't turned on in months. Think I will wait this time.

The price point will be interesting to see, its nice how tiny and compact it is. I also wonder since its a HDMI hookup if it works on anything with HDMI. It's cool that it runs on batteries but would be nice if it could just get power from HDMI port but I don't think that is something you can do with HDMI.
