Two day World of Tanks beta kicks off this weekend on Xbox One

A two day beta event for World of Tanks will run this Saturday and Sunday for Xbox One users.


Those interested can download the game prior to the test on July 10.

All players taking part will receive a Premium American Tier 3 M22 Locust light tank for logging into the game. Those who already own the tank will receive 180,000 in silver and a garage slot instead.

All participants will receive double XP during the July 11-12 testing period as well as “a 2x Battle Operation to be used later.”

Finally, all players who download the game prior to its July 28 release date will receive the American tier II T1E6-X1 Premium light tank and an exclusive camouflage for free.

World of Tanks on Xbox One will be available as a free download for all Xbox Live Gold members. Other Xbox Live account holders can also receive a seven-day trial.

Do people still play this game? I remember playing it a bit on the Xbox 360 and finding out how horrible I was at this game but I didn't expect it to still be popular.

This wasn't too good on the 360 but I'm probably gonna check it out on next gen just to see if it's any better gameplay wise, not just graphically.
