Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta kicks off in August, first on PlayStation

The Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta will kick off this August, first on PlayStation 4.

Treyarch tweeted the news this afternoon.

Those who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One will receive automatic access to the beta. A tester for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 isn’t in the cards.

The world premiere of Black Ops 3 Zombies will take place at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow and Activision is expected to drop news on the Collector’s Editions alongside the reveal.

The premiere will occur at 1pm PT/4pm ET/9pm UK during a panel hosted by Treyarch’s Zombie director, Jason Blundell and lead writer, Craig Houston.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 releases on November 6 for PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

slapshot101 I am really disappointed that its a PS4 priority now, its going to suck to see videos of the beta and have everything ruined before I get to try it out, but I guess thats how Playstation users have felt all these years.
Bio I will be comfortable with waiting the extra amount of time. Excited to have it tested. Cool to see they are running betas.
It seems like that is the new thing with game companies now, every since next gen came out we are seeing more and more companies come out with betas, like Titanfall, Battlefield, Destiny, now COD. It's just their new way of big companies and games trying to gain more hype for their themselves.


True, on the other side of things MS has reaped with all new content.

why do you preorder. i hate people like you. pre-order say the game looks like shit and buy it anyways just to say it looks like shit for a few months til you sell it

They actually do if you read the small text it says " also on xbox one and PC "
