Windows 10 Preview owners can keep it free forever

4.8
Hey you - listen up! We all know that people that own Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 get a free upgrade to Windows 10 this July, when Microsoft’s new flagship OS is released, but now there’s a way for absolutely anyone to score the same deal.

If you download and install the Windows 10 Preview build, and register it to your Microsoft account, you’ll also receive the free upgrade to the real deal once it’s out. This means that even if you’re running Windows Vista, Windows XP or even haven’t got an OS at all, you can get Windows 10 for free.

What are you waiting for?

The offer was made clear via Microsoft’s Windows blog.

“Windows Insiders running the Windows 10 Insider Preview (Home and Pro editions) with their registered MSA connected to their PC will receive the final release build of Windows 10 starting on July 29th. This will come as just another flight. I've gotten a lot of questions from Windows Insiders about how this will work if they clean installed from ISO. As long as you are running an Insider Preview build and connected with the MSA you used to register, you will receive the Windows 10 final release build and remain activated. Once you have successfully installed this build and activated, you will also be able to clean install on that PC from final media if you want to start over fresh.”

Does streaming xbox games to windows 10 mean you no longer need an xbox?

That's ridiculous if so

AE86 im currently running windows 10 pro insider preview and it is absolutley filled with bugs, for those of you who want to try it out, please just wait until the final version is released, these builds are gonna be very buggy.

I've been running it for a while now and I haven't noticed as many bugs as I expected. It causes my laptop to run a lot hotter than when I had windows 8.1 which is annoying because I get thermal shutdowns a couple of times a day but other than that it's been fine.

Yeah only a few times has it glitched and never crashed on me.

I probably wont even use Windows 10 to be Honest.

Kex I signed up for it. Windows 10 looks alright to be honest.

Yeah it's not that bad. I like it better than Windows 7.
