Xbox One May Update Preview Partly Solves Multiplayer and Party Issues

4.6
If you are a Xbox One preview update member and recently had problems with joining a multiplayer match or initiating a party chat, help is on the way.

The issue with parties has been solved, and the problem with multiplayer has been amended at least for Ryse with a new update, while unfortunately the issues still persist with Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and Resident Evil: Revelations 2.

Below you can see the full patch notes directly from the private preview forums:

DETAILS

OS version released: xb_rel_1505.150505-2009
Available: 8:00PM PT 5/6 (4AM GMT 7/5)

FIXES

Joining multiplayer matches in Ryse: Son of Rome. A fix in this update will resolve issues with joining multiplayer matches in Ryse.
Initiating a Party Session. This update contains a fix for the issue reported by the community where initiating a Party session would fail.
KNOWN ISSUES

When using a game invite to invite a friend to join a multiplayer match in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse or Resident Evil: Revelations 2, a party session may fail to initiate due to an error.
Please report any issues you discover via the Report a problem feature or in the forums!
This recently uncovered issue could mean that those that aren’t in the preview program might get the update a little later, even if it seemed almost ready a few days ago.

Is the XB1 seriously still having party issues? That's pretty pathetic. I remember having party issues at the very beginning when the console was released.
