Video: Rainbow Six: Siege alpha leak shows off Plane map

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently in closed testing, but some gameplay footage has leaked to delight the rest of us.

The Rainbow Six: Siege video below shows off the Plane map. It is an alpha build, so far from representative of final quality.

The footage leaked over the weekend and Ubisoft slammed takedowns in place with admirable speed – but not before AllGamesBeta posted a DailyMotion mirror.

This one will likely be deleted within a day, too, so feast your eyes now.

Rainbow Six: Siege gameplay was also shown at E3 2014. The tactical team shooter is expected on PC, PS4 and Xbox One this year.

Ubisoft has now commented on the Rainbow Six: Siege leak and also detailed how you can gain access to the game's upcoming closed beta.

"We have invited some media and influencers to try the game at our studio," a Ubisoft spokesperson told Eurogamer, when asked of the leak's origin.

"We are glad to say that they really enjoyed the experience and that soon you will be able to read their impressions. Stay tuned."

Ubisoft also confirmed a closed beta of the game was coming at some point later in 2015. Pre-ordering the game now will unlock access.

"You can now pre-order Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege to get access to the Closed Beta later on this year. Stay tuned for more information on the Closed Beta in the coming months."

Rin I like how footage always gets "leaked" from games. The map looks good none the less. A close quarters fight inside a plane would be chaotic.


Are you saying that companies don't purposefully release footage and claim it's leaked for hype?

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on the 360 was awesome, I really hope this one is going to be good.

Interesting concept for a map. Hiding behind plane seats used to be a pain on MW2 Terminal so making a full map out of it will be fun to see the aftermath of

Sounds good although the MP5 and MAC like machine pistol sound the exact same in R6V2. My only worry is that the environments won't be brought over from previous titles in Night missions in R6V2 I was terrified to get in any kind of gun fight because all you could see was tracers, and if this game is to succeed they need to basically copy the ones before it.
