Former Call of Duty 4 and MW2 lead designer rejoins Infinity Ward

4.7
It looks like former Call of Duty lead designer Todd Alderman has returned to Activision's Infinity Ward studio. You may recall that Alderman was one of 38 members of the "Infinity Ward Employee Group" who sued Activision in early 2010 for $75 - $125 million for unpaid bonuses the group claimed it was owed for work on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Alderman later joined Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella at their new studio, Titanfall maker Respawn. Alderman left the studio in 2012. His most recent stint was as a designer at League of Legends maker Riot Games.

according to a Polygon report, Alderman has rejoined Infinity Ward as its new project director and all the ill will between him and Activision has dissipated.

Alderman was lead designer on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 and left the company in 2010. Shortly thereafter he joined the then-newly formed Respawn Entertainment.

Could it be a remaster of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2? A petition to remake the fan-favorite CoD game recently gained a lot of traction on change.org, but unfortunately fan petitions don't always make it to the top of management, even if the number of signatures now exceeds 160,000.

Also who is writing these stories? Call of Duty 4: modern warfare 2? Seriously?

GTXPlayer Let's be honest here. The games have been total shit since he, West and Zampella left the company. I'm not so sure the game would radically change is Todd joins back but if the other two were to join back, I'm sure we could get what we expected a long time ago.

Which won't happen since Zampella is the CEO of respawn entertainment and west retired due to family related issues. People also seem to forget that when those two left they brought 80% of the IW employees at the time along with them to respawn. The most likely reason for this guy coming back to IW is because he was offered more money than what riot games was paying him. The IW of today is nothing similar to the one that solidified the CoD franchise years ago. The only reason CoD is still a thing today is because people still buy into it whether it's bad or not.

If their going to remake.. they will be bringing in a classic ps4/xbox one collection
with all the dlc included on disk maybe with some new playlist, etc.

It would be stupid for them to just make mw2 by its self.

- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

now if that happens.. more than likely Treyarch will catch on and bring:

- Call of Duty: World at War
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

The base price of it will probably be $60 since the games now only cost about $10-20 each.

(doubt they will take out anything from the game like nube toobs, etc)

A remake of Modern Warfare 2 or Even CoD 4 would be absolutely amazing. MW3 should not be remade, yeah it was a good game, but I wouldn't even consider it to be anywhere as good as MW2 and or COD 4.
